Just a quick hit for my good buddy Paul who grew up in the area and now lives in Tennessee: Found in The Kansas City Star today, was an article on MU being the national champion for 2007.
According to the Anderson & Hester College Football Computer rankings - a component of the BCS ranking system - Missouri is the national champion for the 2007 season. The same computer rankings listed Kansas at No. 2, .005 points behind the Tigers. The slimmest of differences between the 12-2 Tigers and the 12-1 Jayhawks was apparently Missouri's victory over the Jayhawks and a stronger strength of schedule.
Atleast Mizzou made it atop of one computer ranking! Great year Tigers, we look forward to next year!

I sure like these Tigers much better than the Geaux Tigers that won the BCS championship. My favorite sign at a football game this year had to be at the Border War game where Mizzou beat the Jayhawks. The sign read, "KU football - a tradition since fall '07". Best sign ever for a Mizzou Tiger fan.
I am running 16 tomorrow getting ready for the Country Music Marathon in April. Supposed to be a 20 degrees.
This was definately a solid year for the Tigers - I think they deserve the #1 spot...but who am I?
16 miles in 20 degree weather - man, I'll never get used to that no matter how long I run. I love to run when it's just starting to snow and it's about 30 degrees outside - beautiful. 20 degrees, sorry buddy, but that's just nuts!
Did the 16 miler and it was mid-20s and wind out of the north. I ran 14 outside and then did the last two at the Y on a treadmill. I will not be distracted. Have a good rest of your weekend.
